"CLFMA of India conducted a seminar on “Recent Advances in Poultry Processing and Value Addition in Chicken Meat” at Kolkata on 28 March 2009. Dr. P. G. Phalke welcomed 45 delegates from poultry industry of eastern India and speakers. Mr. Pravin Lunkad, past chairman of CLFMA of India chaired the session and gave introduction of CLFMA. Mr. Axel Arras, Managing Director, Food Process Technology Co., Ltd, Bangkok, was the key speaker. He gave excellent presentation on how to earn more profits by value addition in poultry meat. He had visited Kolkata market to get an idea about how poultry meat is sold in India. His presentation generated lot of interest among the delegates. Dr. Dinesh T. Bhosale, Hon'Secretary and Dr. P. P. Vitkar also attended the seminar. Mr. Tejvinder Singh, Indian Trading Bureau, gave vote of thanks.
